A graduate in financial and marketing studies, Johnny Gardsäter began his career in travel in 1991 and has worked exclusively within the Nordic and European travel trade in the divisions of Sales, Marketing/PR and Product within tour operator, wholesaler, hotel and transport companies.

His particular strength and focus has been in the growth and developments of Hotel Chains such as InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Forum Hotels, HFS, Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and Airlines such as Delta Airlines, US Airways, Estonian Air, Fly Nordic, Aer Lingus, Alitalia, BWIA, Virgin Atlantic as well as building tourism brands including the destinations of USA (Discover America), Miami, Los Angeles, NYC & Company, Ft. Lauderdale, Australia (ATC), Barbados, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Kenya, Malta and Jordan.
