Creta Maris | Crete, Greece
We are pleased to share that Creta Maris Resort has been featured in the July issue of BBC Good Food Magazine (Printed Circulation: 192,692; AVE: £20,227), thanks to our collaboration with our UK PR agency and the successful press stay of journalist Lily Barclay in 2023.
The journalist was seeking to spotlight a family-friendly destination for this summer edition, and we’re delighted that Creta Maris was selected as the perfect fit. Lily authored a two-page feature titled “Discover a Cretan Gem,” highlighting the resort’s authentic charm, outstanding food & beverage offerings, and unforgettable guest experience. The feature is beautifully brought to life with seven vibrant images, painting a compelling picture of what makes Creta Maris so special.
A True Cretan Gem
Nestled on the glittering Aegean coastline, Creta Maris stands out for its fusion of traditional Greek architecture and warm, family-run hospitality. The resort is surrounded by cobbled paths, blooming gardens, and picturesque squares, creating a village-like atmosphere that’s both relaxing and rich in character. It boasts 250 metres of private beach, multiple swimming pools, and a fantastic water park—perfect for all ages.

Farm-to-Fork Dining with Cretan Soul
The article praises the resort’s culinary experience, from its organic produce and kitchen garden to the Greek buffet overflowing with variety. Special attention is given to Pithos, the resort’s organic à la carte restaurant, where traditional dishes like grilled sea bream and local Cretan wines take centre stage.
Kids and adults alike will enjoy themed dinner nights, decadent dessert bars, and a wide choice of dining options, all part of the resort’s all-inclusive, high-quality F&B programme.

Stay in Comfort and Style
From sea-view apartments ideal for couples with little ones, to two-storey villas suited for larger families, accommodation at Creta Maris blends style, privacy, and comfort. With multiple bathrooms, balconies, and personal touches throughout, every guest can feel at home. The all-inclusive offering continues until departure, ensuring guests enjoy every last moment—even with late flights.
Why Families Love It
With open-air cinema nights, a variety of kids’ facilities, board games, mocktails, and a welcoming beachside atmosphere, Creta Maris is designed for multigenerational holidays. The feature reinforces how the resort stands out as a top-tier destination for families who want luxury without compromise.
